Your family has its own vehicle and guide for the whole trip. Game drives are timed around prayer times, with stops where the guide can find a quiet, clean place to pray. We ask camps for rooms or tents close together for families, and for a female guide where you request one.

The route is flexible. Amboseli works well for families with young children. The Mara is best from July to October for the crossings. Laikipia is quieter and allows walking and riding. We suggest the mix that fits your dates.

Kenya’s coast has more than a thousand years of Swahili Islamic history. Add two or three nights in Mombasa Old Town, with Fort Jesus and its mosques, or in Lamu, whose old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited Swahili towns.

  • Guide qualifications and, for walking and riding, the camp’s safety procedures
  • Recent client references we can contact
  • For halal trips, each camp’s confirmation in writing
