The fly-in option uses a scheduled light aircraft from Wilson Airport, about 45 minutes to the Mara. You land in time for an afternoon drive, sleep in a conservancy camp, drive again at dawn, and are back in Nairobi by early afternoon. It works best when your last session ends by lunchtime or you have a free day before your flight home.
The road option needs no flights. Hell’s Gate National Park is about two hours from Nairobi and is one of the few parks where you can cycle or walk among zebra, giraffe and buffalo. Add a boat on Lake Naivasha for hippos and fish eagles and you are back at your hotel for dinner. From USD 690 per person.
We plan from your real schedule: your hotel, your last session, your flight. Nothing is booked until you have seen the timings and they work.
